A year in review.

2025 Annual Report

Dear Supporters,

Dear Supporters,

On behalf of Supporters of Camp Archbald (SoCA), I am honored to present our 2025 Annual Report. Every program, service, and accomplishment highlighted here is the result of people working together — and none of it would be possible without the collaboration of our campers, supporters, friends, and donors - including you!

Collaboration defined 2025. What began years ago as a shared vision — a group of compassionate individuals coming together to save Camp Archbald — has grown into a thriving, community-driven organization strengthened by partnership, trust, and teamwork. Today, that spirit of collaboration is most clearly reflected in our strong and evolving partnership with Girl Scouts in the Heart of Pennsylvania (GSHPA).

Throughout the year, programming at camp flourished through the combined efforts of GSHPA staff and SoCA volunteers, who worked side by side to improve facilities, enhance experiences, and preserve the camp we all love. While our work and programming have long been supported by GSHPA, 2025 marked a turning point as we formally joined forces to offer our girls the best two-week resident camp experience at Camp Archbald.

This collaboration represented unity at its best. Together, we expanded marketing opportunities, streamlined registration, and established consistent pricing across the GSHPA footprint — all while preserving what matters most. And I, your trusted Resident Camp Director, remained in place, and Camp Archbald’s traditions, culture, and legacy stayed firmly intact.

The power of collaboration was also evident in our impact. In 2025, SoCA and its partners directly served more than 350 girls and adults through resident camp, programs and events. Through the combined generosity of our community, we raised over $102,000 in event income and donations, both restricted and unrestricted.

At the heart of all this work are our volunteers — the true collaborators behind every success. This year, volunteers contributed an extraordinary 13, 866 hours, working together to plan, facilitate, and deliver programs that bring Camp Archbald to life. From preparing for resident camp and marketing our brand to facilitating events, fundraising, leading workdays, assisting Girl Scout Leaders and Service Units and handling administrative tasks- these efforts reflect what is possible when many hands work toward a shared purpose.

While hundreds of volunteers support SoCA’s mission, several individuals deepened that collaboration in 2025 by completing specialized training and certification. These trained volunteers now safely serve the girls and young adults who attend Camp Archbald in areas including archery, river canoeing/boating, hiking, high and low ropes, and CPR/First Aid. If you were one of these specialized volunteers, THANK YOU!

Together, these partnerships, shared commitments, and collective efforts made 2025 another remarkable year for SoCA. I am proud of what we have accomplished — together — and hope you are too. Camp Archbald is, and always will be, unlike any place on Earth. Thank you for collaborating with us, believing in our mission, and investing in the future of SoCA.

Yours Truly,

SoCA Board President and SoCA Camp Director

Jamie Puchalski
